Nineteen more Engage3 shopping patents are in the pipeline
SAN FRANCISCO, July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Engage3, a pioneering retail intelligence and digital marketing solutions provider, was awarded US Patent #8,190,486 on "Techniques for Product Selection." The revolutionary patent covers how advertisers, manufacturers and retailers may recommend products to shoppers based on the shoppers' preferences. The product selection patent is all-encompassing in scope. Preferences can be anything from price to product attributes, such as gluten free and non-GMO; to size; manufacturer brand; and store selection.
"This patent is one of twenty patents that we've filed and forms the foundation for our Intent to Buy Platform," said Ken Ouimet, Founder and CEO of Engage3. "It is a shopper-centric solution that gives consumers the confidence that they are buying the right products at the right price and at destinations of their choosing, saving them time and as much as $3,000 a year."
ShoppingScout, the Intent to Buy Shopping Platform is rapidly being recognized as a retail "game changer." Dr. Bill Bishop, a widely recognized retail industry expert stated "What makes this app different is that it starts with what the shopper intends to buy. By starting with this information, ShoppingScout gives retailers and product manufacturers the ability to better target promotional spending."
Ouimet added that Engage3 is in very active discussions with retailers, manufacturers and media partners nationwide.
