TORONTO, April 11, 2013 /CNW/ - A hearing has been scheduled before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), to consider whether the Panel should accept a Settlement Agreement entered into between IIROC staff and Glenn Arthur Taggart.
The Agreement concerns conduct that Mr. Taggart engaged in discretionary trading in the accounts of three related clients.
The hearing is not open to the public, but will become open in the event that the Hearing Panel accepts the agreement. If the agreement is accepted, the Panel's decision and the Settlement Agreement will be made available at www.iiroc.ca.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Mr. Taggart's conduct in May 2011. The conduct occurred when he was a Registered Representative with the Ancaster, Ont. branch of DWM Securities Inc., an IIROC-regulated firm. Mr. Taggart is currently a Registered Representative at the Ancaster, Ont. branch of Burgeonvest Bick Securities Limited, an IIROC-regulated firm.
