Enerpulse Announces Unique Test Marketing Program

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Ignition products company Enerpulse, Inc. announced that their proprietary Pulstar(R) pulse plugs will be test marketed by O'Reilly Auto Parts in selected premium stores in Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX and Dallas, TX.

The program involves a patented, proprietary technology with a very small SKU count (5). The five (5) SKUs cover approximately 75% of the automobiles and light-duty trucks found on U.S. highways. With so few SKUs, the Pulstar(R) product is an ideal line to be displayed on the sales floor whereby stocking resellers can reduce inventory, increase turns and margins in a classic price-sensitive commodity.

The low inventory requirements of the Pulstar(R) product line is directly attributed to the features of the "Pulsed Power"(TM) technology employed by the pulse plugs. With over 1,000,000 watts of discharge spark power, specifications for spark placement, electrode configuration and heat range are mitigated.
