Turkish Heritage Organization will hold a round-table discussion on regional energy politics
WASHINGTON, Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A panel discussion on energy dependency and future of energy politics around Turkey will be presented by The Turkish Heritage Organization (THO) at 3:45 pm on Wednesday, February 3, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
The discussion will address Turkey's role in an energy dependent region where energy politics can have important outcomes for 2016 and beyond. Experts will weigh in on Turkey's challenges and opportunities.
Douglas Hengel is the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy, Sanctions, and Commodities at the U.S Department of State. He is a Senior Resident Fellow at the German Marshall Fund.
David Livingston is an associate in Carnegie's Energy and Climate Program, where his research focuses on innovation, markets, and risk. Prior to joining Carnegie, David gained experience at the World Trade Organization in Geneva and at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna.
David Romano is an Associate Professor of Politics and Government in the Middle East,
at the Missouri State University.
