The announcement of Army's appointment was made by Paul Bleiweis, EASI chief executive officer.
"We're delighted that Mary-Beth, with her skills and experience, is joining our team at EASI," Bleiweis said. "She will be instrumental in helping EASI continue to grow in its role as an international leader in providing energy efficiency solutions for large industrial and commercial facilities."
Army has nearly 20 years of CFO and senior finance role experience with large companies. She was most recently in a senior finance position with Healthtech Holdings, which has over $100 million in revenues. She has also served as CFO for Hobby Lobby International when the company, then owned by a private equity firm, was in a rapid growth phase.
A certified public accountant, Army began her career in public accounting. After an extensive search for its new CFO, EASI selected Army because of her professional experience and strong personal qualities, Bleiweis said.
"Mary-Beth has a broad skill set in finance and administration and an exceptional work ethic," he said. "Each of these is valuable for EASI customers worldwide as we provide them with our ever-expanding energy conservation technologies and services."
EASI is a portfolio company of Arborview Capital, an investment firm based in Chevy Chase, MD.
