Energtek Succesfully Tests Natural Gas Supply System at Aluminij Plant
NEW YORK, January 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Energtek Inc. (Pink Sheets: EGTK), a leader in hi-tech natural gas solutions and Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology, announced today that the company's subsidiary Energtek Herz d.o.o. Mostar has successfully completed the first trial tests with natural gas at the plant of Aluminij d.d. Mostar, a large industrial energy consumer in Bosnia.
The trial is an essential marker in the full implementation of Energtek's ongoing natural gas supply contracts signed with Aluminij and FEAL d.o.o. Sirokij-Brijeg. The contracts are expected to yield revenues of $10,000,000 annually.
The purpose of the trial was to test the Pressure Reducing and Metering Station (PRMS) along with piping and the natural gas control system installed by Energtek Herz at the Aluminij facilities (a photograph can be viewed at http://www.energtek.com/t/1057-prms).
In addition to leading towards the fulfillment of the signed contract, the trial demonstrates to other potential customers in the region the effectiveness of the conversion works.
"We have completed another substantial step toward starting current delivery," said Prof. Yuri Ginzburg, CTO of Energtek. "The conversion works always concern customers. The test provides the customers a clear reassurance to utilize localized, cost-efficient natural gas resources. We look forward to realizing the full implementation of our ongoing supply contract."
