Ener1 Files Second-Quarter Report Extension With Securities and Exchange Commission

NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ener1, Inc. (NASDAQ: HEV), today announced it will not be filing its second-quarter 2011 quarterly report Form 10-Q.  It has filed a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an extension.  The company plans to file the Form 10-Q as soon as practicable.
