Endgame Appoints Donald Saelinger as Senior Vice President and General Counsel Amid Period of Unparalleled Growth
Saelinger to join leadership team and help bolster enterprise-wide adoption of EDR platform
ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Endgame, the leading endpoint security platform closing the protection gap against advanced attackers, today announced that Donald Saelinger will join Endgame as its Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Saelinger brings over a decade of legal experience as a business-focused general counsel and executive to usher Endgame into its next phase of growth. Most recently, Endgame was selected among the 500 fastest growing technology companies and has experienced strong enterprise adoption of its EDR platform in the federal and commercial sectors.
At Endgame, Donald will oversee the company's global legal activities, including contracting, compliance, intellectual property, and data privacy, and will be involved in other critical business priorities for the company. He has extensive experience managing strategic contract negotiations, data privacy and security matters, IP strategy, complex litigation and public and private company securities compliance. Donald was also a recent finalist for CLO of the Year by the National Capital Region Association of Corporate Counsel and is well-known in the DC community for building a strong corporate culture and entrepreneurial spirit within companies.

Most recently, Saelinger served as the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Opower, Inc., the world's leading of provider of SaaS-based customer engagement software to electric and gas utilities. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the full legal, compliance and data protection portfolio for the company, and also played an active role in helping shape the firm's business decisions and strategy. Notably, he was instrumental in the recent sale of Opower's business to Oracle. Prior to his time at Opower, Saelinger was an attorney at Kiva.org, a non-profit organization that utilizes web-based tools to provide capital to small businesses. He began his legal career as an attorney in the New York and San Francisco offices of Covington & Burling, where he focused on mergers and acquisition and capital markets transactions.
