SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Oct. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh off the energy of Emergency Nursing 2018 in Pittsburgh, the Emergency Nurses Association on Tuesday officially revealed Austin, Texas, as the site of the association's annual education and networking conference in 2019.
"ENA is excited to host the annual conference in Austin," 2018 ENA President-elect Patricia Kunz Howard said. "Emergency Nursing 2019 will feature exceptional educational opportunities, networking and social events in a city filled with great entertainment."
The 2018 conference in Pittsburgh drew nearly 3,100 emergency nurses from across the country. Many of those attendees didn't hesitate to be among the first to register for next year's conference. A special video presentation during ENA18's closing session also helped get the excitement flowing for the Austin experience.
"We are thrilled to have Emergency Nurses Association's annual conference in Austin," said Bridget Portier, assistant director of convention services for Visit Austin. "Whether you are interested in history, music, outdoor adventures or shopping, Austin offers something for everyone. The ENA attendees can definitely expect to enjoy great food, live music and southern hospitality at its best."
