EMRISE Launches New, Versatile Telecommunications Network Access Product Range for Analog Emulation Over Ethernet-IP
Products Support Complete Range of Analog Interfaces
DURHAM, N.C., May 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EMRISE CORPORATION (OTCBB: EMRI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, announced today the launch of a new and versatile telecommunications network access product range solution that connects legacy analog-based equipment to the newest generation Ethernet and Internet Protocol (IP) networks.
The new product range called the CIP-ALL, developed by the Company's CXR–AJ subsidiary, supports a complete range of industry standard interfaces, providing pseudo wire emulation over Ethernet-IP using fibre or copper media. The product range provides for full integration into global network management systems and QoS (Quality of Service) management systems.
EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva said the CIP-ALL products are among a number of new products the Company is developing for the global and U.S. markets.
"The CIP-ALL products have been designed to be very versatile with a wide variety of interfaces from analog telephony to data and video," Oliva added. "They represent great examples of our innovative capabilities in the network access telecommunication products market. We believe these products and other products currently in development will enhance our product offerings, especially in the U.S."
An increasing number of customers with embedded analog solutions are facing the need to replace their systems, such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), security and control systems due to the rapid decommissioning of leased line and other analog circuits by the telephone companies. This range of products extends the life of these systems at a time when telephone companies' capital budgets are constrained.
