EmploymentGroup Names Robert G. O'Hare Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
BATTLE CREEK and GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., May 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EmploymentGroup, a solutions-oriented staffing and outsourced services firm, today announced the appointment of veteran sales and operations executive Robert G. O'Hare as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In his new role, O'Hare will lead the business development and sales & marketing functions for both EmploymentGroup (EG) and its EG Managed Services (EGMS) division, and provide strategic planning and oversight for a number of the Company's key operational areas. O'Hare will report directly to CEO Mark Lancaster.
O'Hare's responsibilities will include formulating and directing the implementation of creative strategies for new client acquisition, and reinforcing EG's commitment to its existing corporate customers. In addition to his business development, client service and key operational responsibilities, O'Hare will play an important role in the ongoing enhancement of EG's customized services offering and serve as primary liaison between EG's clients and staff.

O'Hare's more than 25 years of transformational sales management experience have involved working with senior management teams in a variety of start-up, mid-cap and Fortune 500 settings. His track record includes designing and executing successful strategies to support aggressive first-to-market growth, corporate turnarounds, strategic acquisitions, restructurings and equity financing.
Prior to joining EmploymentGroup, O'Hare was senior vice president – business development for eHigher Education, an emerging company focused on corporate content and training solutions. While there, he was instrumental in driving significant sales revenue and margin growth, cultivating key customer relationships and extending the company's industry reach. Previously, O'Hare held senior business development positions at: former GE unit Genpact, a business process/training outsourcing and content leader; Thomson Enterprise Solutions, where he led integrated sales efforts targeting Thomson's largest global customers prior to the Company's restructuring as Thomson Reuters; and Motorola, where he played a key role in the development, launch and growth of the company's Internet solutions and content group. Earlier in his career, O'Hare developed and managed an extensive global sales and brand marketing team for Dun & Bradstreet's Official Airline Guides (OAG), where his leadership helped to transform OAG's core products and advertising platform from print to online/digital formats.
O'Hare holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and business administration from the University of Wyoming and has completed extensive postgraduate coursework at Rocky Mountain Business College as well as the University of Chicago Management Seminar. O'Hare's board and community affiliations have included Ronald McDonald House Charities; the Community House and Hinsdale Central Foundation in Hinsdale, Ill.; United Way for the Hinsdale/Oak Brook area; and serving as a lifetime trustee of the Hinsdale Center for the Arts.
