BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Employees of the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant near Baxley, Ga., brought unit 2 back on-line Wednesday at 4:25 p.m. ET. The unit is producing electricity after a safe, scheduled refueling and maintenance outage.

Unit 2 will now continue to produce safe, reliable electricity for our customers until the next refueling outage in two years. Plant Hatch unit 1 continues to safely generate electricity at full power.
