ASA Elevate Award for Innovative Skills Training Program, Better WorkLife Academy
ASA Elevate Awards recognize outstanding, innovative and effective work-based learning programs that train, reskill and upskill temporary talent. EmployBridge was recognized with this award for its industry-leading Better WorkLife Academy program which offers free online training opportunities to its temporary associates. To date, the program has upskilled or reskilled approximately 13,000 EmployBridge associates through its partnership with online learning and skills training leader, Penn Foster. Averaging 1,000 enrollees per month, the course offerings are designed to meet the industry-based needs of enrollees that are most relevant to improving pay and job prospects.
ASA Genius Award for Top-Rated Mobile Career App
The ASA Genius Award recognizes member staffing agencies for the most outstanding marketing, advertising, multimedia and public relations campaigns and products of 2018. This year, EmployBridge was selected to receive the award for its mobile career application, customized and branded specifically for each of its specialty workforce divisions. The career apps alert candidates to best-fit job opportunities, providing relevant information pertinent to job acceptance or rejection. In addition, the apps offer the ability to complete skills testing and submit employment paperwork in real-time from a mobile device.
The app has been rated a 4.5 or better (out of five), by the company's temporary associates on the Apple and Android app stores. The career app will also be featured at Staffing World 2018, the ASA annual convention and expo, Oct. 16-18 in Washington, DC.
"At EmployBridge, and each of our specialty workforce divisions, finding great opportunities for great people is our everyday mission, but it's an honor when the industry takes notice," said EmployBridge Chief Executive Officer, Tom Bickes. "As much as we embrace technology, our commitment to innovation means a lot more. It means listening first, then thinking outside the box to create a better work life for our temporary associates, deliver a quality workforce for our clients and create a place to work where people are appreciated, engaged, productive and thriving."
