Empiric Health Announces Becca LaFond Joins the Firm as Chief Service Officer to Spearhead Clinical Services Team
SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Empiric Health today announced Becca LaFond has joined the firm as Chief Service Officer. Ms. LaFond will join the leadership team at Empiric as it works with hospitals and health systems to reduce clinical variation and unnecessary cost while improving outcomes in healthcare delivery. She will focus on the implementation of and support for Empiric's innovative software application, designed to help health systems identify variations in procedures and improve outcomes using proprietary analytics to facilitate data-driven insights.
Ms. LaFond brings a lengthy track record of success delivering strategy, technology, and management consulting in the area of clinical operations for providers, payers, and other healthcare organizations. Most recently, she was Managing Director and National Practice Lead for Clinical Operations Performance Improvement at Accenture.
She was also a Managing Director at Huron Healthcare, focused on implementing best practices in clinical operations in hospitals and health systems across the country. Key areas of focus included Population Health, Patient Engagement, Patient Flow, the Emergency Department, Perioperative Services, Care Management, Patient Placement, and reducing clinical care variation.
