Former Snapchat Creative Strategy Executive Greg Wacks Joins Conversational Content Leader, Emogi
NEW YORK, June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Emogi, a company enriching conversations for millions of people every day in messaging apps, today announced the addition of Greg Wacks as its Global Head of Content, further increasing the company's rapid growth.
Greg joins Emogi with over 20 years of creative experience in a variety of fields, spanning television, agency and social. Greg began his career in television at MTV, MTV2 and VH1, where he helped create hit shows like TRL, MTV Beach House, and Jersey Shore. He later joined LiquidThread, a division of Starcom Mediavest Group, overseeing branded content for Mondelez, North America. He left the agency world in 2014 to serve as US Head of Creative Strategy at Snapchat, and in 2017, founded Episode, a strategic consultancy helping publishers, brands, and non-profits bring their stories to life with engaging video content and creative strategy.
Greg has been involved in Emogi's growth since 2017, when he began advising Founder and CEO Travis Montaque on a differentiated, active approach to content in messaging. As Global Head of Content, Greg will be responsible for expanding Emogi's global content programs, creative strategy, and content partnerships which will deepen the value that Emogi provides to developers and brands.
