eMeter's Information Platform Integrated with SAP® Applications to Improve Analytics, Scalability and Software Capabilities for Utility Customers
SAN MATEO, Calif., Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- eMeter, a global smart grid software platform provider and Siemens business, announced today that its eMeter EnergyIP MDUS Bundle is now an SAP-qualified business solution. The solution provides integration between the eMeter EnergyIP information platform and SAP® for Utilities solutions, and provides the benefits of real-time energy usage information and enhanced metering services to utility customers around the globe. This allows utilities to better leverage their investments in solutions from both eMeter and SAP AG (NYSE: SAP).
Through integration with SAP for Utilities, the eMeter EnergyIP MDUS Bundle will deliver additional choices and flexibility for organizations running SAP software. Even more, the use of eMeter EnergyIP with SAP for Utilities will help utilities to scale to full production levels. In addition, eMeter successfully completed the integration between a Meter Data Usage System (MDUS) and the SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP for Utilities.
