HOUSTON, Feb. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- George Attmore has been named chief financial officer of Emerus Holdings Inc., the nation's first, largest and most experienced operator of micro-hospitals.
Attmore's wealth of experience and expertise positions Emerus to build on the momentum created by its healthy pipeline of growth, including multiple new national joint venture partnerships. He most recently served as CFO at CareSpot Express Healthcare. Previously, he served as senior financial officer at DSI Renal Inc., a multisite provider of dialysis services, where he was responsible for all treasury and capital markets functions.
Prior to that position, Attmore worked at Archon as leader for the healthcare middle market lending and investing platform. He has also held senior-level positions as a healthcare leader with GE Capital Corp. and as an accountant with Ernst & Young LLP.
Emerus is a national and innovative leader in healthcare delivery, and the partner of choice of leading health systems across the country. Attmore will be responsible for finance and accounting department functions, revenue cycle, debt structuring and covenant compliance, financial forecasts, budgets and analysis.
"Emerus is fortunate to have as our new CFO a person with George's leadership skills and extensive background and expertise in finance and healthcare," Craig Goguen, CEO of Emerus, said. "We are pleased to welcome him to our executive team."
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, George is a certified public accountant and is a CFA® charter holder.
"I am very excited to join the Emerus team. The team members, and their focus on compassionate patient care, made the decision to come on board an easy one. I look forward to helping to expand our platform and partnerships and continue to provide excellent patient service," Attmore said.
