SEATTLE, Jan. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the Season of Love, Emeritus Senior Living is introducing a contest just in time for Valentine's Day. "My Senior Valentine" celebrates seniors and the people who love them.
To enter, Emeritus is asking people to submit a photo of themselves and their favorite senior along with a short, poignant, funny or heart-warming story about them. Entries can be submitted on Emeritus' "My Senior Valentine" contest page on Facebook, which anyone can access from emeritus.com or the Emeritus Facebook page.
"We love seniors and we love hearing stories from others who do," says Jayne Sallerson, executive vice president. "Celebrating seniors is our passion and Valentine's Day seemed like the perfect day to share this passion with others."
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges from Emeritus who will base their choice on a variety of criteria, including the elusive "awww" factor. The winner will receive a $200 Visa gift card. All stories and photos will be displayed on the "My Senior Valentine" contest page. Submissions will be accepted through Friday, February 14, and the winner will be announced by February 28.
