Emergent Awarded BPA by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Adobe Solutions

VIENNA, Va., Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Emergent, an award-winning small business and IT solutions provider, today announced it has been awarded a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the purchase of Adobe® Connect™ web conferencing software and other associated Adobe Systems Incorporated collaboration solutions by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  The BPA has a maximum value of $9 million, with a term that commenced on September 26, 2010 and expires September 25, 2015. The BPA is designed to limit costs, reduce paperwork and is a procurement mechanism that works better and costs the U.S. government less.
