FRISCO, Texas, Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Embrey Partners announced today it has started construction in Frisco, TX on Domain At The Gate – the first project to break ground inside the master planned Gate development by Invest Group Overseas (IGO). Domain At The Gate is projected to be one of the more sophisticated and upscale Embrey Partners' multifamily properties, in-line with Embrey's focus on building beautiful and creative developments tailored to each unique market.
"IGO is known for trendsetting, luxury residential and mixed used developments. We are proud to be part of The Gate project right in the heart of Frisco's $5 Billion Mile," says John Kirk, executive vice president of development for Embrey Partners. The $5 Billion Mile is a stretch of development at the intersection of Dallas North Tollway and Highway 121 with proposed real estate investments in excess of $5 billion. It is anchored by The Gate at the north end and the Dallas Cowboys' Star development and world headquarters at the south end. The Gate is near the campuses for Toyota and FedEx headquarters as well as large office developments for Chase and Liberty Mutual, bringing thousands of jobs to the nearby area.
Dr. Anas A. Kozbari, Managing Partner and CEO of Invest Group Overseas, commented, "IGO could not have made a better choice. We are fully confident of Embrey Partners' credentials and capability to deliver an excellent work. IGO is renowned for pioneering landmarks wherever we have ventured, and together with Embrey, The Gate will certainly mark another corporate milestone for us. We see The Gate development as a destination that will pull huge traffic from all over the Dallas Metroplex."
Construction began almost immediately after a September 30 closing on the property with first occupancy slated for the summer of 2018. A wrap project with expansive courtyards and stunning views, Domain sits on one of the highest points in The Gate, overlooking the new Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. The carefully designed property will consist of 350 one- and two-bedroom units and will include upscale amenities throughout, including a 11,000 square foot clubhouse, two level fitness facility, golf simulator, dog spa and bike garage.
While the exterior is transitional European with natural stone and stucco, the interiors boast an urban contemporary look and feel. "It's a beautiful combination of old world European architecture with a contemporary style that brings together crisp and clean luxury with lush spaces, natural materials and high end finishes," adds Kirk.
