Ember CEO Robert LeFort Honored by UMass Lowell

BOSTON, April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Last week, UMass Lowell honored alumni for exceptional leadership and commitment in their fields at the 2012 University Alumni Awards ceremony. Among the honorees was Ember's CEO Robert LeFort, who graduated from the university in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Since joining Ember in 2006, LeFort has grown the company into the world's leading provider of low-power wireless mesh networking technology – including chips, software and tools – based on ZigBee, a global, low power wireless industry standard.
