Embassy of the Republic of the Sudan: Israel Continues its Terrorist Attacks Against Sudan
WASHINGTON, Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is being released by Embassy of the Republic of the Sudan:
In just a little over a year after it bombed two civilians, Israel has yet again carried out another terrorist attack against Sudan. This latest brings the total of such unprovoked attacks to four, all of which occurred within just the recent past. The target this time was the Yarmouk Industrial complex, a well-known facility that produces only lawful weapons and ammunition. Two Sudanese lives were unjustifiably lost once again. And Israel will naturally concoct another lie to excuse this flagrant and shameful act. Sudan vehemently condemns this undue aggression and calls on the peace loving community to denounce Israel's habitual terrorism.
By now, given the prominent record that's there for all to see, it should be clear precisely how much of a threat Israel is to world peace and security. For far too long, it has waged murderous campaigns against innocent civilians all over the globe with impunity. Its trail of destruction of human life all over the region is a constant reminder. In clear violation of international laws, it continually provokes its neighbors into wars which it gladly turns into opportunities to kill civilians. And for its shameful and inhumane conduct, the world has virtually remained silent.
Our history as Sudanese, and record in the unbiased global community shows that we are a peace loving people. History also shows that we can appropriately stand against aggression. In this regard, Sudan reserves the right to respond to the wanton murder of its citizens. Such terrorist acts only work to strengthen the resolve of the Sudanese, who are determined to continue calling for justice all over the world. They also expose the weakness of the perpetrator whose only tool has been terror.
