Embark CEO Sarita James Named to Crain's New York 40 Under 40
Fellow honorees include CEOs of Handy, Squarespace, ClassPass, and SoulCycle
NEW YORK, March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Sarita James, CEO of the educational technology firm Embark, was named to Crain's New York prestigious 40 under 40. Appropriately in its 40th year, the list spotlights 40 New Yorkers in business, government, philanthropy and the arts who have reached the top of their fields before their 40th birthday. Fellow honorees this year include the CEOs of Handy, Squarespace, ClassPass, and SoulCycle.

Prior to Embark, James held executive roles at Citigroup, including Chief Operating Officer of Citi Ventures. She has experience building software at Microsoft Corporation where she received two patents and in advising technology companies as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. James received a B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard College and her M.B.A. from Oxford University's Said Business School.

James has long held a passion for education and the public sector. She received a B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard College and her M.B.A. from Oxford University's Said Business School.
