NEW YORK, May 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced today that Ellen Rotenberg has joined PwC US as a tax partner in the Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance (BCMI) practice based in New York.

Rotenberg brings deep credentials and a wealth of knowledge around international tax issues in the banking industry. Her 17 years of experience will enable her to play a significant role in PwC's national BCMI practice, where she will help to serve key strategic financial services clients both in New York and nationally.
Prior to joining PwC, Rotenberg served as KPMG's National Tax Leader for Banking and Finance, Business Unit Partner in Charge of its New York Financial Services tax practice and a member of KPMG's Global Financial Services Steering Committee. Prior to joining the New York practice, she was a partner in KPMG's Washington National Tax Practice, working with financial institutions on tax issues and corporate restructurings.
Rotenberg is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs. She regularly speaks at industry-wide conferences and has authored various articles on tax and accounting-related issues.
