DANVILLE, Calif., Dec. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Elizabeth Hunter Ashley, M.M., is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Music Performance in recognition of her role as International Vocalist Musician at the Elizabeth Hunter Ashley "The Performance Studio".
The Performance Studio created by Elizabeth Hunter Ashley specializes in Music Performance and Instruction with a variety of Operatic and Vocal genres. The Studio offers a wide range of musical instruction, the Italian Bel Canto method, master classes, recitals, forums, clinics, college and competition preparation, and more. In addition, the Studio offers pedagogy in several different languages including, Italian, German, French, English and Spanish.
Amassing over thirty-five years of experience in her role as musical performer, Elizabeth Hunter Ashley is an International Vocalist and Music Instructor. She is a professional Lyric Coloratura Soprano, and specializes as a soloist in Oratorio, Opera, Concert, Sacred Music and Cabaret, and has performed as a featured soloist with over 16 orchestras in the United States and internationally. Throughout the course of her education and training, Elizabeth Hunter Ashley attained her Bachelor's degree in Music Performance – Vocal Performance from the University of Kansas.
She went on to study for a Master's degree in Music from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and then completed the Master's degree in Classical and Vocal Performance from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.
Elizabeth Hunter Ashley is an adjudicator for the National Teachers of Singing in Northern California, as well as the California Music Educators Association. She is a member of several organizations including the Mu Phi Epsilon, CMEA, Gamma Phi Beta and P.E.O., where she served as President of Chapter WF in Danville, California.
In recognition of her professional accolades, Elizabeth Hunter Ashley earned a spot in the Austin Minnesota Music Hall of Fame; was a Concerto Competition Winner – Graduate College Level; and a Finalist in Graduate and Undergraduate for the National Association of Teachers in singing. For her leading musical roles, she has been nominated for the California Bay Area "Shelley Award" 3 times. She is known as a National Anthem singer and has performed at the American League Championship Series game in the Metrodome as well as a College World Series game in Omaha Nebraska.
Elizabeth Hunter Ashley was crowned Miss Minnesota in 1985 where she also won the talent award for her singing. She then competed in the Miss America Scholarship Pageant in Atlantic City New Jersey. As a recording artist, she has finished a sacred work "Cure' of Ars" by composer Dr. John Vitz at Studio 880, CA., as well as co-produced her "A Season of Serenity-Christmas" CD at Fantasy Studio, CA.
