WASHINGTON, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- "The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) welcomes the nomination of Deborah Birx, M.D. as the new U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator. Dr. Birx will lead the U.S. Department of State's Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator as it develops sustainable solutions to global health challenges, including efforts to eliminate HIV/AIDS.
