DANVERS, Mass., Nov. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday, November 13, at 9:30 a.m., Eliza Corporation (Eliza) will present Special Olympics Massachusetts (SOMA) representatives with a donation from the Company's employee wellness competitions and T-shirt sales. Eliza's Special Olympics donation will support Sports Training and Competition programs year round to individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout the state of Massachusetts -- allowing them to live healthier lives in communities that are accepting of their abilities.
Danny Williamson, a local Special Olympics athlete, will take some time to talk with Eliza employees about his experience with Special Olympics. To offer a preview of this incredible athlete -- over the last nine years, Danny has competed in basketball, track and soccer events. He also attended the 2014 National Games in New Jersey, where he received a gold medal in the shot put.
