Eli's Cheesecake Celebrates National Cheesecake Day with Miss Illinois and the Debut of the Eli's Cheesecake Mobile

What: 

Miss Illinois, Megan Ervin, will kick off Eli's Cheesecake's National Cheesecake Day celebration by decorating cheesecake (wearing a hairnet and her crown) and announcing that Eli's will donate a portion of all sales made on National Cheesecake Day, in-store and online, to The Children's Miracle Network, the charity supported by Megan. 

Eli's will also debut the Cheesecake mobile, a black and white 1928 Ford delivery truck that's been tricked out with enough storage space for over 1,000 slices of cheesecake.  The Eli's Cheesecake mobile will drive around the City all day, accompanied by the Eli's Cheesecake mascot (a giant slice) who will pass out free cheesecake slices.  Scheduled stops include the areas near the Jefferson Park CTA Station, Seneca Park/Eli Schulman Playground (located across from the new Children's Memorial Hospital), and the Prudential Building.  Check Eli's Twitter and Facebook sites for surprise stops.

For those who can't join in the fun in Chicago, our online celebration is free shipping on the featured cheesecake flavor of the hour (8:00 am – 1:00 pm).
