Elias Rocha Assumes Duties as AppTech's CEO and Announces First Revenue Generating Agreement in the New Corporate Structure
BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AppTech Corp (Pink Sheets: APCX) announced today that Elias Rocha has officially assumed his duties as CEO and Chairman of the Board of AppTech Corp effective November 1, 2011. This marks the beginning of a new era for AppTech Corp. By providing innovative mobile apps for valued clients, in conjunction with content partners worldwide, AppTech's new structure is a complete departure from the company's previous business model. Comments Rocha: "Today AppTech begins a new life... generating high margin revenue that I am confident will yield prosperous results for all stakeholders. We are in the process of changing our logo, our website and we are committed to building a sizable, profitable business. Strategically, AppTech Corp will establish its new brand and identity by distributing apps to a vast audience of end users via high profile business partnerships that have the potential for a significant, global audience reach. AppTech Corp's sources of earnings now come from software licensing, streaming service contracts, recurring monthly subscriptions, advertising supported mobile video content, and custom app development."
Rocha continues: "I also want to take this opportunity to announce that AppTech Corp has signed a custom app development agreement with a Brazilian group buying site 'Mongron' (www.mongron.com.br/?locale=en) and their current international network of 500+ vendor coupon affiliates. The scope of the order is for AppTech to develop a custom iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android application with unique features such as instant location-based offers and video on demand. The financial arrangement between the two companies includes payment to AppTech Corp for the master custom app plus monthly software licensing fees equivalent to 8% of total gross sales resulting from the use of the new mobile app – for all 500+ vendors. This represents a potential of over US$ 500,000.00 in software licensing revenue alone over the next 12 months for AppTech Corp, based upon the group's current sales volume."
