By leveraging latest mass-market mobile device hardware and software technologies, the new form factors enable specialized markets such as public safety, defense and industrial to roll-out customized products that meet industry-specific functional or performance requirements faster and with lower development risks and costs.
The new form factors enhance the EB Specialized Device Platform product portfolio with more device options, better LTE support, more advanced peripherals and latest Android features. They illustrate the versatility and the scalability of the EB platform, allowing EB's customers to benefit from commercial mobile technologies such as Android and LTE. The new form factors are fully functional reference devices, providing customers a solid foundation for adding various market-specific features and other customizations.
