Elektrobit (EB) appoints Andreas Heim as Executive Vice President Operations

ERLANGEN, Germany, June 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Elektrobit (EB), a leading developer of cutting-edge, technology solutions for the automotive industry, today announced the appointment of Andreas Heim to Executive Vice President Operations, effective June 1. In this role, Heim will manage operations for all development domains (Navigation, Connected Car, Driver Assistance, HMI, Software Integration and Services, and Car Infrastructure) within EB. Heim held various executive roles, most recently, as the Vice President Platform Group Telematics at Harman, and Managing Director and Shareholder at S1nn, now a Harman company, and held various business management positions at R&S Sound GmbH (Bose Sound Systems).

Heim has a strong industry expertise in the automotive software, telematics and infotainment markets. In his role as Executive Vice President Operations, he will be responsible for finding new areas for growth and improvement for each of the company's domains in accordance with the overall EB corporate strategy.
