Products are the lifeblood of the electronics industry and EE Times Products provides engineers with the only 360 degree view to information on product launches and reviews. EE Times Products has been designed to help the EE Times engineering audience learn about new developments in the electronics industry, what they mean and how engineers can get up and running with them as quickly as possible. Website visitors can link to components, manufacturers and franchised distributors to check inventory, order samples or place orders. EE Times Products delivers fast access to critical information including: datasheets, application notes, reference designs, teardowns, webinars, video, tutorials, education courses, white papers and specific product parts search.
"Product information -- the lifeblood of systems engineers -- has moved online in the past decade, but we're transforming that experience in our new website, with an emphasis on search, community, multimedia and audience engagement," said Paul Miller, CEO, EE Times Group. "Brian's knowledge of the industry as an editor, a vendor and a communicator and his passion for electronic engineering design and the issues designers face daily makes him the perfect person to help drive this transformation. He understands our passion to make EE Times Products the go-to product resource that not only provide engineers with the products they need, but also provide the help and interaction necessary to make the right choices and execute upon their designs."
With nearly 30 years of journalism and new media experience, Fuller returns to EE Times Group, where he spent 15 years as a reporter, news editor, managing editor, and ultimately editor in chief. Fuller helped guide EE Times to become the news and information source for the electronics industry and transformed the property from a strictly print edition into an industry multimedia leader in the online world. Fuller also pioneered many early digital innovations in the electronics b2b trade press, including round-the-clock news coverage online, one of the industry's first blogs and video-news coverage of events, new product announcements and c-level Q&A.
Fuller was most recently director communications and community for Numetrics Management Systems Inc., an ERP productivity software company in the semiconductor industry. Earlier, Fuller was senior vice president for Digital Media and Content Creation at Blanc & Otus where he used his traditional publishing and digital-media expertise to help clients determine the best social-media strategies and tactics for their business goals. In addition, he led the agency's content-creation practice, which included blogging and Twitter services and Web site information architecture support. Earlier in his career, Fuller was managing editor for the San Jose Business Journal, managing editor of the Providence Business News and a reporter and bureau chief for United Press International in Indiana and Rhode Island. Fuller is a well known speaker and panel moderator in the electronics industry and also writes about industry issues and evolving communications strategies and tools on his blog, Greeley's Ghost.
Fuller will report to David Blaza, Vice President, Events and Embedded Systems, and will be based in EE Times Group's San Francisco headquarters. Fuller can be reached at [email protected].
