As ever-increasing "no smoking" laws make it virtually impossible to smoke anywhere, retail sales for electronic cigarettes have experienced accelerated growth. Further, a steadily increasing portion of income from this emerging market will be from refilling the cartridges that hold the required e-cigarette operating fluid known as "e-juice" or "e-liquid."
All electronic cigarettes and accessories are awaiting Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registration and regulations, with strict manufacturing guidelines expected. The refill options currently available are not child proof and contain toxic, and possibly lethal, levels of nicotine-laden liquid. Designed to work with existing electronic cigarette systems, the patented e-juice dispenser is a pre-filled, hermetically sealed pipette with a precise, long-neck dropper and soft squeeze bulb for control of dispensing even the smallest singular drops of e-juice. A clear, highly flexible resin is used in construction to allow users increased visibility and control regarding the positioning and amount of liquid dispensed. This is coupled with a suction feature to prevent spillage and remove excess liquid to prevent cartridges from becoming dangerously full or injuring the circuitry of the device. Further, the amount of e-juice that can be stored in the novel container is well below the amount toxic for adults and children. Plus, the tip of the dropper must be cut in order to use, making the dispenser substantially safer than other refilling products on the market.
