Electronic Banking Certification Program to be offered by Community Bankers Association of Kansas
BankersHub and Community Bankers Association of Kansas announce partnership on online ebanking certification
MADISON, Wis., Feb. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bstuff LLC, dba BankersHub (http://www.bankershub.net), one of the fastest growing online education portals in financial services, recently launched an online training program to help banks deal with ongoing regulations, risk exposure, fraud and new innovations with noncash payments. BankersHub is now partnering with Community Bankers Association of Kansas, an association dedicated to supporting Kansas' thriving independent community banking industry.
A 2013 Federal Reserve Payments Study stressed rapid growth in electronic payments, noting "By 2012, two-thirds of consumer and business payments were made with payment cards. (Debit/Prepaid) Cards increased their share from 43% of all noncash payments in 2003 to 67% in 2012, while use of ACH grew more modestly, increasing share of 11% in 2003 to 18% in 2012." "Growth in electronic banking serves as the catalyst for us to offer this certification to our members," says Shawn Mitchell, CBAK President/CEO. "We believe the needs of the community banking industry are addressed in this program as it focuses on the risk, fraud and operations issues they face every day."
"The program offers eBanking certification programs through online modules that can be completed at the student's convenience," explains Erin Handel, BankersHub Co-Founder and Managing Director of Education. "Everyone also has access to a personal trainer who is available throughout the program to provide guidance and direction. Tests are taken at the end of each session to track progress and knowledge retention and reports are provided to bank management during and after completion."
The program is offered completely online with no need to travel or go to a testing facility. "We've built our company out of respect for our customer's time and expense, therefore we firmly believe this program must be offered online from start to finish" says Michael Beird, BankersHub Co-Founder. "We are delighted to be partnering with the Community Bankers Association of Kansas because their dedication to ongoing professional education among their member institutions reinforces a strong foundation within their communities."
The program offers three levels of eBanking certification along with certificates in the areas of debit/ATM cards, ACH, checks and remote deposit, payments fraud, and wire transfer. BankersHub also offers Financial Accounting certification as well as an AAP Exam Study Prep course for aspiring AAP's.
