ElectriPlast Provides Automotive Update
EVANSVILLE, Ind., April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Integral Technologies, Inc. (OTC-PK: ITKG) ("Integral"), and its wholly owned subsidiary ElectriPlast Corporation, announced today ElectriPlast's conductive material is in final product validation with an Automotive Tier 1, for use in an automotive optical electronics application. ElectriPlast material was chosen for this application because of its superior shielding performance compared to other solutions.
If selected, the ElectriPlast application will be part of a 2018 global automotive platform going into approximately two million vehicles. The ElectriPlast component has passed the design validation phase and shield effectiveness test results have exceeded specified requirements. Integral is seeing continued demand from the automotive sector as automakers continue their push towards lightweight and electrification.
"The automotive development cycle is long and very competitive, we are excited to be this far down the path on a program of this magnitude. We are pleased to be working with a Tier 1 with such innovativeness and global reach. We've been working closely with their engineering team on the development of this application. The prospect of two million cars rolling off the assembly line in 2018 with an ElectriPlast component is a game changer for us," stated Mo Zeidan CTO of ElectriPlast.
