Electric Drive Transportation Association Announces New Board of Directors Chair
WASHINGTON, March 3, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- At its quarterly Board of Directors meeting in Washington, D.C. on February 28, the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) announced new leadership for its Board of Directors.
Rob Stewart, Manager, Smart Grid and Technology for Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI), will be the new chair of the association's Board of Directors. Stewart succeeds Scott Gerke, Manager, Federal Affairs, for Honda North America, Inc., whom EDTA Board members recognized at the meeting for his outstanding contributions to the electric drive industry.
Rob serves as the utility functional area manager of research and development for PHI. In his present role, Rob leads an effort that is responsible for further developing and managing PHI's approach to evaluating and deploying advanced technologies and concepts for application on the electric system. He has served as a member of the EDTA Board of Directors since 2012.
EDTA President Genevieve Cullen voiced her support for the incoming chairman. "We are very pleased to welcome Rob Stewart to the leadership of EDTA.
