Electric Cloud Appoints Christian Nall as Executive Vice President of Field Operations

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Electric Cloud^®, the leading software delivery solutions company, today announced the appointment of high-tech industry veteran Christian Nall as executive vice president of field operations. Effective immediately, Nall will be responsible for global field operations, driving revenue growth, delivering world-class customer support, and expanding the company's presence in new geographies.

Nall brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in the enterprise software sector to Electric Cloud. He most recently served as executive vice president at Composite Software, where he was responsible for worldwide field operations and led a team of more than 60 field professionals. During his tenure, Nall played a lead role in the development of the company's data virtualization market, and achieved a 50-percent annual growth rate in license bookings, selling to Fortune 1,000 enterprises and the federal government.

Prior to Composite, Nall was vice president of worldwide sales at Proofpoint, where he built and managed an enterprise sales team in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia. While at Proofpoint, his leadership drove their overall sales significantly within the first two years of operations. He has also held executive sales management roles with Exigen Group, Portera Systems, and Spyglass. Nall holds a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from The University of California, Berkeley.
