NEW YORK, April 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- At the April 19th Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Practising Law Institute (PLI), the following individuals were elected:
Samuel W. Seymour was elected Chair of the Practising Law Institute Board, and Hon. Angela M. Mazzarelli was elected Chair of the Executive Committee.
In recognition of sustained and outstanding service, William P. Frank was elected Chair Emeritus by the Trustees. In addition, long-time Trustees Edward F. Greene and Lance Liebman were elected as Trustees Emeriti.
The following PLI staff members were reelected: Anita C. Shapiro, President; Sandra R. Geller, Executive Vice President; Frank DeVivo, Treasurer; Laura R. Shields, Vice President; Ellen Siegel, Vice President; Joan Sternberg, Vice President; and Samantha Goldsberry, Secretary.
The following Trustees were reelected for three-year terms: Ellen M. Cosgrove, Associate Dean, Yale Law School; Mei Lin Kwan-Gett, Citigroup; Carmen J. Lawrence, King & Spalding; Hon. Angela M. Mazzarelli, Associate Justice, Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, First Department; Tiffany Moller, Co-Founder, Pallas Global Group, LLC; and Gregory C. Swinehart, Partner, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP.
