GAITHERSBURG, Md., May 31, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Elder High School, an all-male college-preparatory high school in the Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, will roll out a new text messaging application in August 2017 to enable easy, efficient communication between members of the school community and the on-site dining team.
MyDtxt is a cutting-edge text messaging communication tool developed exclusively for Sodexo, the school's dining services partner and world leader in Quality of Life services. After opting in, users can receive text message alerts regarding menu specials, promotional items, and package pick-up reminders. Students, parents, and staff can also provide instant feedback to the dining team via text message. At Elder High School, myDtxt will be used to guide menu development by allowing students to vote for their favorite menu items, ensuring that their preferences are addressed and letting them become part of the menu planning process.
The myDtxt program has been implemented at many of Sodexo's higher education partner campuses throughout the United States. Elder will be the first high school to introduce MyDtxt.
Founded in 1923, Elder is a diocesan high school within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati that is dedicated to helping young men grow intellectually, physically, spiritually, culturally, and socially. The school began contracting with Sodexo, a world leader in providing on-site foodservice and facilities management solutions, more than 30 years ago.
