Eldarion Announces "Hands-free DevOps" Powered by Kubernetes
New Commercial DevOps Solution is Based on the Company's Previously Announced Open-source PaaS Software called Kel
BOSTON, July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Eldarion today announced Eldarion® Cloud, a combination of white-glove DevOps services together with a commercially supported DevOps PaaS powered by Kubernetes, CoreOS, Docker and Kel™, the company's previously announced open-source software project that adds a layer of tools and components that make it easier to administer the Kubernetes stack. The solution provides a hands-free DevOps experience for organizations that would otherwise be unable to implement and leverage Kubernetes.

Previously, Eldarion offered a similar solution called Gondor—a system designed and built by Eldarion to speed the development and deployment of Django / Python web applications. Eldarion Cloud builds on the company's seven-plus years of Gondor experience. The company beta tested Eldarion Cloud by migrating its biggest and most demanding Gondor customers to Eldarion Cloud.
For example, Midwest Communications is a media company with 72 radio properties in the United States. The company's Emergence.fm Music Research platform was originally developed and deployed on Gondor and has been running without issue on Eldarion Cloud for more than a month.
