Elbit Systems Ltd. Announces the Filing of a Shelf Prospectus in Israel
HAIFA, Israel, May 17, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: ESLT) (the "Company") announced today that it has filed a shelf prospectus with the Israel Securities Authority and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The shelf prospectus is valid for a period of two years and allows the Company to raise from time to time funds through the issuance of notes and/or warrants exercisable into notes, at the discretion of the Company. Any future offering of these securities will be made pursuant to a supplemental shelf offering report which will describe the terms of the securities being offered and the specific details of the offering.
The Company has not yet made any decision as to the offering of any securities, nor as to its scope, terms or timing and there is no certainty that such an offering will be made.
