eHealth Technologies Announces Integration with Box
New Integration Enables Customers to Securely Access and Share Patient Records
ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- eHealth Technologies, the industry-leading provider of continuity of care solutions, announced today a partnership with Box. The integration will expedite the delivery of eHealth Technologies' integrated systems and data, such as medical images and records, to customers. The partnership was highlighted during a keynote presentation at Box's premier developer conference, Box Dev.
Medical providers use eHealth Connect® Referral Pathways to retrieve, consolidate and deliver contextually relevant records for referral patients. Longitudinal patient records are intelligently organized and delivered to the EMR and PACS for seamless and efficient access by the treating physician. The Box collaboration platform is a core component of this process by allowing referring providers to securely share medical images, document files, and structured data. "The storage, metadata and workflow of Box enables eHealth Technologies to go to market faster," said Colin Rhodes, Chief Technology Officer at eHealth Technologies. "We are excited about incorporating capabilities such as zero footprint PDF viewing, medical image display, and standards-based structured-data document viewing from Box partners directly into our core product suite so we can continue to innovate and lead the market at a time of great change in healthcare."
Chris Yeh, Senior Vice President of Product and Platform at Box also noted: "At Box, we're focused on powering a thriving ecosystem of developers to build products that transform the enterprise, we're thrilled to welcome new partners to the Box ecosystem and introduce new tools that make it incredibly easy to integrate on the Box platform and extend the value of our service to companies around the world."
