EHE International Congratulates ASPO Distinguished Achievement Award Honoree Dr. Alfred I. Neugut

Dr. Neugut accepted the award from the American Society of Preventive Oncology yesterday at ASPO's 40^th anniversary meeting in Columbus, Ohio.

Neugut is the Myron M. Studner professor of cancer research and professor of medicine and epidemiology at Columbia University; associate director for population science and leader of the Prevention, Control and Disparities Program for the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at Columbia; and co-director of the Cancer Prevention Center of New York Presbyterian Hospital.

The ASPO Distinguished Achievement Award is named for Dr. Joseph F. Fraumeni Jr., the former director of the National Cancer Institute's Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics.
