Egon Zehnder International Names Manuel de Miranda to Lead US HR Practice

NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Manuel de Miranda, has assumed leadership of Egon Zehnder International's U.S. HR Practice.  Dr. de Miranda has played a key role in establishing strong momentum and growth in the HR function across the U.S., according to Alan Hilliker, Managing Partner of the firm's New York office.

As leader of the U.S. HR Practice, de Miranda will be responsible for building the brand and deepening relationships in the HR community. "We are excited by the passion, innovation, focus and drive that we expect Manuel will bring to this role," said Hilliker.

Prior to joining EZI, de Miranda served as Vice President Strategic Marketing at Lafarge North America and in a number of line management positions with Shell in several countries. In his last role with Shell he was General Manager of Shell Aviation for North and West Africa.

Dr. de Miranda received his Ph.D. in politics from Cambridge University, and has Political Science degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Windsor. He lives and works in New York City.
