eGlobalTech Wins Fed Health IT Innovation Award

ARLINGTON, Va., May 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- eGlobalTech (eGT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) solutions and consulting services for the Federal Government, received the Federal Health IT Innovation Award for their work on the "My Medicare" mobile application at the 2016 G2Xchange Health Challenge.

Twenty finalists showcased prototypes of innovative federal health IT solutions as part of this highly competitive challenge. eGlobalTech was recognized as the large business category winner.

The "My Medicare" application was developed by eGT Labs, the firm's high-end technology research and development (R&D) organization. It provides the baby boomer population with on-demand and secure access to common Medicare functions, and allows consumers to use their mobile devices to access beneficiary information normally found only on Medicare cards. The application also enables the Government to better connect with an increasingly mobile and technically capable generation of Medicare beneficiaries.
