Egencia and Concur Simplify Business Travel Management with New Partnership

BELLEVUE and REDMOND, Wash., April 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Egencia®, the business travel division of the Expedia, Inc. group (NASDAQ: EXPE), and Concur (NASDAQ: CNQR), the global leader in integrated travel and expense management, today announced a global partnership to make the process of expensing business travel faster, easier and more accurate for mutual customers.

Through this strategic partnership, Egencia and Concur are connecting the corporate travel booking and expense management processes into one solution for mutual clients. Leveraging the Concur platform and its Open Booking APIs, the combined solution makes the process of expensing business travel easier and faster for companies whose business travelers plan, book and manage trips through Egencia and manage expenses with Concur.

Through Concur Open Booking, trips booked and managed by Egencia are automatically added to Concur Expense where the details automatically pre-populate the expense report. Itinerary details, e-receipts and credit card charges are all matched to deliver increased insight and control to their organizations, while making completing expense reports easier and more efficient for employees.
