EFactor Corporation Hosts Entrepreneur-Focused "Pitch Event" with ABC Television's SHARK TANK Panelist, Kevin Harrington
Best Pitches Eligible to Win Start Up Cash
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- EFactor Corporation (OTCBB:STDR) ("EFactor Corp." or "the Company"), a niche social network for entrepreneurs, today announced its next live event, "Pitch it in Person," featuring SHARK TANK panelist Kevin Harrington. In addition to the educational seminar, EFactor organized a contest that gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their business ideas for a chance to win $2,500 in cash.
Taking place at AlleyNYC in New York City on October 8, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the event remains open for registration on www.efactor.com up until the start of the event. Entrepreneurs were also encouraged to submit their executive summaries to EFactor for consideration by Thursday, October 3rd, 2013. A final group of five summaries were selected to pitch their idea to TV infomercial mogul and former SHARK TANK panelist, Kevin Harrington, who will judge each pitch and select a winner.
"We expected a good turn-out for this event and have registered more than 100 participants for the event next week. We also believe that the final round of five entrepreneurs selected for the judged review is sure to produce an excellent competition for the cash reward," began Adrie Reinders, CEO of EFactor Corporation. "Events like these provide our social network of entrepreneurs with the approaches, skills and tools to conduct what all entrepreneurs need to grow their business. In this particular case, this is one activity that all entrepreneurs need to do on occasion: to understand how to attract and retain investors."
EFactor's Pitch Event is part of a series of educational webinars led by Kevin Harrington. The last broadcast titled "Your Product Roadmap" aired on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. EFactor membership and additional registration on EFactor's event page (www.efactor.com/events) is required to access the live webinars and replays of past webinars.
