Hundreds of union activists gather in Pittsburgh for training summits
PITTSBURGH, Aug. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) will hold its 1st Diversity Week Aug. 16-24 in Pittsburgh, Pa. This week of events will include AFGE's 2nd Annual Young Organizing Unionists for the Next Generation (Y.O.U.N.G.) Training Summit, Human Rights Training Conference and 1st Annual AFGE Pride Training Summit. More than 500 union activists from across the country are expected to attend this year's events, which will be held at the Westin Pittsburgh Convention Center located at 1000 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa.
