EECU to open new Heritage Trace branch in late September
Credit union's 14th Fort Worth area location expands EECU's member service with interactive design
FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EECU, one of North Texas' largest locally owned financial institutions, plans to open its newest branch in Alliance Town Center (to be located at 3451 Texas Sage Trail) late September, bringing the credit union's number of banking locations to 14 in the greater Fort Worth area.
Credit union members and those interested in learning more about EECU's services are invited to visit the Heritage Trace branch during a week of planned grand opening activities to welcome EECU to the Alliance Town Center.
The 2,800-square-foot branch location features an innovative design and layout that includes interactive technology to help members learn about mobile banking and online services. It also provides free Wi-Fi, video conferencing and a floor plan designed to facilitate one-on-one conversations with financial and member service representatives.
Members may use the location to establish accounts, apply for loans and perform financial transactions—including a free ATM. In addition, members may make an appointment to meet with an EECU representative who can help with everything from investment and retirement planning, home and auto and life insurance, buying or refinancing a home, or growing their business.
"We believe our new Heritage Trace branch strikes the perfect balance of high-tech and high-touch service delivery and will appeal to the evolving expectations of nearly 5,000 existing members in the area," said EECU President and CEO Lonnie Nicholson. "As anyone in the Tarrant County area is eligible to bank with EECU, this new location will allow us to grow within the Alliance Corridor communities while ensuring that we are able to meet the needs of our existing members."
The new Heritage Trace branch location will be staffed Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with expanded hours for drive-thru lanes. Details on EECU's plans for the grand opening will be available at eecu.org in September.
