Education Secretary Tomalis Accepts Resignation of Armbrister from Philadelphia School Reform Commission

HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Secretary of Education Ron Tomalis today accepted the resignation of Philadelphia School Reform Commission member Denise McGregor Armbrister, who served on the board for more than four years.

"I want to thank Denise for serving the students and parents of the Philadelphia School District during the past several years," Tomalis said.  "While I have not had the opportunity to work with her for a long period of time, it was clear to me that she had the interest of the students as a first priority.
